The Turkey Project – Defence Colony
Today, we are at The Turkey Project Defence Colony. This is yet another discovery by my partner. This cafe is not in the main market but near the Defence Colony flyover. The building in the front side looks like an old commercial building that doesn’t interest you at all. So when he located this one, I was cynical about the area. But as proved before, he is simply the best at it. We have been to some awesome cafes and all due credits go to him.
The cafe is well decorated from the entrance itself. The floor is carpeted with green grass and baskets are hanging with beautiful seasonal plants. The walls inside are uncluttered with paintings hooked neatly in gaps.
How to reach there
The food tasted good
It was our family outing of the week and kids were equally excited. Now our daughter has also started enjoying the cafe tours. In fact, she keeps an eye on us if we ever try to sneak off.
We sat on two sets of tables as kids enjoy to sit as strangers to us and talk like adults to each other. We ordered Nachos, french fries for our boy, some coffee and lemonade for the kids.
It served large portions and tasted so good. We enjoyed the company, ambience, quality and presentable food.
The price you pay
The price fits your budget and you will be happy to visit again. We paid approximately Rs 1000- Rs 1200 for the large delicious portions we enjoyed together.
Let me know if you visit this cafe in near future and how was your experience?

Sounds pretty nice.. Don’t think I’ve ever tried ‘turkish’ cuisine myself.
I am not sure they serve Turkish cuisine because when I searched for its origin, nothing came out related to Turkey. I guess they have just taken the name. Thanks Roshan.
