Are you convinced to take mental health treatment?
Whatever be the reason to be not happy for long, you don’t say you are depressed. Isn’t it the case with every one in four persons? Yes, it is. Recently, I went through a case study to understand the situation of depression in rural India as well as in urban India. The mindset is the same in whatever financial and social condition you may be in. So when do you convince yourself to take mental health treatment or rather accept that you need medical help?
Do you address mental health issues?
The most important problem with everyone is addressing that you may have mental health concerns. Even if one addresses, he/she is not willing to take professional help. You may feel like it’s nothing huge and can be treated with small changes. It many cases, it may be true like going on a vacation soothes your mind or looking at things with a positive perspective that keeps you happy.
Small anniversary trip brought me back to my blog
I knew that I am a homely person and the pandemic didn’t hit me hard as my situation remained the same for the whole year. But gradually, not realizing I was bored with my monotonous lifestyle. Somehow, I was not writing on my own blog; the blog that gave me a distinct space in the blogosphere. I felt like writing nothing and started finding a new purpose in my life.
And then, our anniversary trip to Ranthambhore gave me the freedom of being out of my house. This made me realise I needed that break. Unknowingly, I was getting depressed with my same surroundings and mundane schedule. I was shocked to think how come I questioned my blog?
You are depressed unknowingly
Sometimes, you get back to normal by making small lifestyle changes. But if the situation doesn’t improve, it’s time to get mental health treatment at the right time.
So how are you feeling today?
This post is a part of the #CauseAChatter campaign with Blogcahtter and I am talking about mental health. Why don’t you register and spread awareness?
