4 unique teachers I adore the most for their qualities but hate their subjects
I simply hate my school and love to cherish my college days to feel good. But there are some school teachers I adore for their qualities. However, their subjects were torture to me for the whole of my school life. It’s interesting to document my teacher’s personality amid their subjects. Some people’s habits remain with you for a long time.
Hindi sounds pretty but not the course
In primary school, Chadda Ma’am was my Hindi teacher. She was very kind and helped me adjust to the new school. I, clearly, remember how she told the first ranker to share her notes with me. She was fat and there was a thin line of act showing her humbleness towards a new admission. As an introvert, I would fear to ask her queries but she would answer them all by reading my facial expressions.
At that young age, I wondered how a Hindi teacher could speak English so well! Besides her endurance, Hindi remained a pain in my neck until I opted for Sanskrit in 9th grade and bid farewell to Hindi.
Is Biology different from what happens inside us?
Kiran Ma’am, my Biology teacher was exactly like Sushmita Sen from ‘Main Hoon Na’. She would draw human body parts on the board so effortlessly without even looking at the book. She was tall and energetic. Often boys would admire her beauty and brain.
But again I would ask myself when our bodies can work on their own, why do we need the subject of biology?
What is gone should be forgotten for the sake of the teachers I adore
Now my History teacher, Sudha Ma’am, was another gem of a person who helped me out in the 10th standard. More than coping with my studies, she taught me to stay calm. Sometimes, your teacher’s personality is more soothing than her teaching skills.
At the same time, I was eager to find the person who discovered the subject of history. Why didn’t they just forget what’s happened in the past and move on?
Numbers do lie but not the teacher
Maths has always been like a noose tightened around my neck. But my maths teacher, Ajay sir, was the person to die for. I bet if anyone learnt a formula in his class because everyone was busy admiring his looks. He was the only charm in my Maths class that would help me score some marks else I hated the subject.
Do you remember a teacher you adore but not the subject?

Ha ha.. Interesting take.. I never thought about a subject and a teacher like that… Now i’ll have to think about the teachers which i liked but not the subjects that they taught.
Dekha! There’s so much we get from reading others in the community. Like I love your take on Hindi comics. Thanks for commenting, Vikas.
