How can you be friendly with your subconscious mind?
Earlier, we discussed that your subconscious mind is your carbon copy and takes your command without doubting your intentions. Let’s take a step ahead and see how can you be friendly with your subconscious mind. Shouldn’t that be easier? Well no, in most cases, we are in constant conflict with our own thoughts. That’s when we say we are confused and not able to decide either way.
Tips to be friendly
When you treat your subconscious mind as your friend, what are the qualities you search for? Imagine a friend in front of you and then think. It actually becomes easier.
Don’t you trust your friend?
Trusting your subconscious mind as a friend makes it simple for you to share your aims with it. Like you talk to a friend without the fear of being judged, similarly, feed your subconscious mind with your plans, wishes and dreams. Be constructive about what you want to achieve in the end. Just share and don’t guide. That is the job of your subconscious mind.
Imagine your subconscious mind to be your mirror image. Here, all your thoughts are reflected the same way as you think irrespective of good or bad. The only difference is that your subconscious has the power to break or make a world basis on your thoughts.
Patience is the key to every successful achievement. Once you have talked about your dreams to your subconscious mind, be patient and give some time to it. Sometimes, sleeping with clear visions of your future help your subconscious to understand you better. It starts working in that manner and make way for you to achieve.
Many times, I sleep with problems in my mind and ask my subconscious to give solutions. And yes, most of the time, there’s clarity in my mind as I wake up. I feel sorted. Don’t you remember your mom saying that go to sleep first, we’ll finish all pending homework with a fresh mind? What’s a fresh mind? Nothing more than a clear subconscious with ideas to work.
Treat it like a buddy
Treat your subconscious mind as your closest and the best buddy. The sky is the limit when you both work together. If you go wrong somewhere, just close your eyes and ask your subconscious what went wrong? Concentrate on your thinking and you will surely get answers. As and when you get some thoughts, write them down on paper. These are answers from your subconscious mind that are helping you sort things in life. Isn’t this what your best buddy does for you?
Spend quality time together
The subconscious mind is a part of your brain so technically it will never leave you but the trick lies in how better you know it? When you sit idle, write down your dream on paper and recall it a number of times during the day. If you say it aloud, your ears listen to it repeatedly. Your subconscious mind listens to it again and again. This way your positive thoughts register in your subconscious mind.
Similarly, when you wake up in the morning, recall your ambition. As you retire for the day, just relax and talk to your subconscious mind. Say it aloud that you are coming closer to your goal.
These are simple practices that you can do daily to be familiar with your subconscious mind. Repeatedly talking to it reminds you of the presence of your subconscious mind and you’ll feel the power within soon.
