Does your voice has the power to convince your subconscious mind?
The past two months were disturbing in terms of health and mental peace for almost all of us. Many friends and families suffered a lot and I being a very positive person was also hit hard mentally. I talk about various ways to feed your subconscious mind with positive yet functional thoughts. And that brings us to the bigger question today; does your voice has the power to convince your subconscious mind?
The art to convince your subconscious mind
Often we talk about feeding the subconscious mind with positive thoughts but how do we do that? By saying things aloud, to an extent that we can hear our own voice. What you speak, your ears listen and saves it to your subconscious mind.
For eg, when you try to remember a six-digit number you keep saying it repeatedly until you write it down somewhere. Your brain recalls what it hears you saying, knowingly or unknowingly. This was the case when we were not dependent on copy-paste and learnt everyone’s phone number the same way. Well, today also you fill in the pin manually at many places.

Use your voice to say good things
When you talk about something, you don’t know how does it sound to others but the one listening can sense it. When I am angry with my children or a family member, I want to say so much to them and even say a few things. But when I calm down my anger, I say those harsh words aloud in an empty room and listen myself. I feel so bad.
Much worse, I am saving those emotions in my subconscious mind for that person. You may feel it’s a temporary conflict of emotion but it’s not. It keeps on piling in your brain and hinders your thoughts occassionally. Be it even your own children.
Repeating the same things make it bigger
What happens when you are ill? You get tense and keep saying ‘I am ill, I am taking medicines but I am ill.’ Whoever comes to you, you repeat the same lines and so it gets registered in your mind that you are ill. Yes, you are ill but don’t you want to get out of this state?
Whereas, if I am ill, I say ‘I want to be better. I am getting healthier. I can’t be in this state anymore. I want to be stronger.’ I strengthen my thoughts and medicines work faster on my body.
Remember that illness is smaller than medicine that’s why you take a dose of medicine and illness vanishes. Medicine is stronger and has the power to kill illness. We keep talking about illness and make it bigger. Our brain listens to what we say and thinks it to be the right state. The brain doesn’t judge us, it simply takes voice commands.
How do you get up from deep sleep?
Sleep is a pattern that differentiates us from the real self. You don’t know what’s happening in the world when you are deep asleep. You don’t listen any music or any other noise. But as soon as someone calls your name, you come out of sleep. Isn’t it?
This shows that voice is one attribute of us that has the power to convince our subconscious mind. The mind that doesn’t recall anything in deep sleep listens to the voice and comes to consciousness.
Observe carefully your own activities for a day and you will come with various examples where your voice sets the tone for your brain. I am waiting to hear you.
