I simply love to talk about the power of the subconscious mind that has helped me transform into a better person today. If you have been reading my posts for some time now then you know how much I emphasize the role of your subconscious mind. I am continuously researching the topic and love to share my experiences with you all. So the first and the most important step is to activate your subconscious mind.
Simple yet powerful ways to activate your subconscious mind
In simple terms, your subconscious mind is a carbon copy of you. What you think consciously is copied into your subconscious mind without any verification. What you consciously think and plan is taken as a command by your subconscious mind.
The real power in your body is your subconscious mind. It never sleeps or rests that’s why when you sleep, your body still breathes and the organ system is working.
So if you want to win, you need to think in that direction with the strong belief that you will achieve it. Let’s check how to activate your subconscious mind.

Meditation
You need not sit for hours to awaken your subconscious mind. Just sit quietly for 10 mins to start with and concentrate on your breathing. Meditation is nothing but concentrating on one thing at a time and it is best to follow your breathing. Push away all thoughts that are interfering and bring back your mind to concentrate on breathing.
Gradually, meditation will further help you to bring your focus to only those things which you want to achieve. This happens when you feed your subconscious mind with those thoughts.
Music
This is an interesting concept. There is specialized music for you to help in meditation. I haven’t tried it because I truly believe in my subconscious mind. But while researching for this article, I found this concept. You can try different music available on YouTube. It’s called Alpha music.
Belief
The most important aspect is to believe in the power of your subconscious mind. But how does that happen? For once follow your thought process and see if it happens that way. Now take another task where you doubt its possibility or end result. See the difference.
All things you are confidant of happens because you constantly believe that they will happen. You never doubt them. On the other hand, the things you are confused of will confuse your subconscious mind as well. Therefore, test your belief and check who wins?
Sleep on it
This is one habit that will take you to great heights. Believe me, I have done it, achieved and am still doing it for betterment. Sleeping with your dream is the most powerful act we can do consciously. I have stressed upon it earlier also that before you sleep and when you get up, we are half-conscious and our mind doesn’t make strategies. At this moment, what is playing in our subconscious mind is the most powerful. So visualize your dream and see yourself achieving it.
Understanding your subconscious mind is an ongoing learning process. It is difficult to crunch it all in just one blog post. That’s why I am writing 26 posts this April to make this concept familiar with you.

Nice post, Geethica. I realize that I have journeyed through music, sleeping on dreams, belief and meditation, in order. It feels like a gradual shift. The interesting part is that I didn’t do any of these to consciously activate the subconscious mind. It just happened so and it’s the perspective of hindsight doing the talking.
