Can you beat the stress with ignorance?
Today, we are going to win over another depression syndrome commonly known as Stress. This term has suddenly taken a huge audience for itself and is growing with each and every day. Until 2000, we were not very much aware of stress. If a few people suffered, it didn’t make the news. So majorly, people just ignored stress or stressed people. This is exactly what we will also do today when lives have fast-forwarded to 2020. It is an interesting question to ask yourself that can you beat the stress with ignorance?
Stress with ignorance
To win over a particular situation, we need to understand first that what comprises stress? Well, in today’s rushed lifestyle, everything adds to stress. We are low in patience and that is why we are stressed. We don’t want to wait for anything and thus become restless within a few minutes of its delay. In fact, we want everything with the power of money and status that we have forgotten our limits. Everything is useless for everyone but just for the sake of it, we want it. It is high time we need to adapt the minimalistic approach to all the things available and thanks to the current scenario, we are learning it.
The second biggest stress is the fear of missing out. Don’t you feel so too? The society is ignoring you or they don’t accept you as you are so you change for them. A particular group is not accepting your request or you need to keep up with your social profile. All these unnecessary emotions add to stress in you.
Ignorance is bliss
An English poet Thomas Grey said Ignorance is bliss. This is perfectly applicable in today’s situation. When you can’t control the consequences then ignore. Divert your mind to other possible things you can keep yourself busy with. Similarly, we can beat the stress by powerfully ignoring it. Why do we let stress grow within us? If we strongly ignore things or people who add to our dreaded condition, we can beat the stress.

Acceptance is the biggest power within us. Once we learn to accept things, people around and most importantly the way we are, we will win over stress that day. Going back to the core, if we accept others as they are and don’t try to change them, we will be happy. If you can’t tolerate them, just ignore them. But don’t let them affect you and add to your stress. Once you ignore, the other person feels less important and leaves you.
Similarly, be proud of yourself and accept yourself as you are. Believe me, you will be much happier than today. Nobody is perfect, we all know but we try to become one. Why? Just to add more stress to our lives.
Ignorance and acceptance
The treasure is within us only but we try finding it outside. Ignorance and acceptance may sound opposite to each other but when applied together in life, gives you the most hidden pleasures. Ignore what you don’t like and accept who you are. You will be the happiest soul on earth.
In these times of self-isolation, we are social distancing from all and this is the time when we evaluate ourselves. We come out with many hidden talents we were unaware of until now. So always be thankful for how you are. Who knows what are your hidden treasures?
