How to be thankful to your family?
The family is the root of your existence. They give you values and teach you traditions based on which you mark your individuality. You face the world with courage and confidence because of the love, respect and care nurtured by them. They protect you whenever and wherever needed. Many times you feel standing alone in the world but secured and relaxed in the lap of your family. Have you ever thought of being thankful for your family?
Ways to be thankful
- Love them unconditionally. Never love your family members for some conditions because they don’t do the same. It is selfless love between the family members.
- Respect your elders and be humble and polite to young ones simply for the reason that you are being watched every second. The way you behave comes back to you in future.
- Many times you realise a generation gap over some issue but remember one thing that elders have experienced life much more than us. They have an insight of the situation we may not have.
- When in any dilemma, listen to your family first. Because when the world ignores you, your family welcomes you with open arms.
- How high you may be in your career and social life but this success is only enjoyed when shared with your loved ones.
Work on family bonding and spend quality time with each other. Share your joys and sorrows among the members and feel lighter and happier.
Teaching kids to respect elders and respect anyone in general is a necessary step. I have seen many kids these days who behave differently with domestic helps because of their social status. When i was younger i was taught to give respect to everyone irrespective of the work they do. I hope i can teach my son the same. Thanks for linking up with #ThankfulThursday #hankYouNote contest
When you have that respect for others then I am sure your kid will also learn the same. Thanks Tina

It is true that the world may ignore you or welcome you at the drop of hat according to circumstances, but the family stays with us through all the good and bad.
