Did you remember to smile when time tests you?
This lockdown period is definitely trying our patience with each passing day. Social media is over-loaded with different ways to keep yourself busy, in short, motivated. Because the more you sit idle, you start thinking of the consequences of being tied up in your own home. The world has come to a halt and nothing is working except WiFi. But we will survive and that’s our propaganda this quarantine. So did you remember to smile when time tests you?
Time tests everyone at different times
This time may be a challenge for the whole world. But think of every other day when you are arguing with your inner self finding a solution to controversies around you. Motivation is needed at every step of survival and the main source of it is the positive vibes from your loved ones. When you smile with them, you forget your miseries. You breathe only freshness and feel free.
A smile wins every war
You may feel that when the situation is so tense how can we think of smiling? But tell me one thing, when you frown, doesn’t your face hurts you more? Instead, when you smile and stretch your lips, you feel so much better. Believe me, I have tried it. When I cry but smile looking up in the air asking my God how much more do I have to suffer, I feel relaxed. There’s a ray of hope when you smile while time tests you.
The power in your smile
While arguing with someone if you quietly listen and smile, the other person feels irritated and stops talking. When you are angry, you take many wrong decisions because your brain signal stops working for the moment. Anger never benefits you but the smile does. A smile keeps you calm and gives you direction to think sensibly. You get many solutions to one problem. Most importantly, you feel empowered and become an example for all those watching you.
Your smile controls time
You have no control on the current situation but you can decide when to smile. Things are beyond explanation and there’s no use in worrying and getting tense day by day. The best way is to indulge yourself in your favourite things. Take pleasure of talking to your elders on how did they survive with minimum facilities as they grew up. Old experiences always come as rescue and innovate new ideas combined with new brains.
Be thankful for the lovely people around you and smile along. A smile wins every battle without leaving any scars behind.
