You make a vision board every year but fail to follow it until the end. Why? Because subconsciously, your ideas are not strong enough to sustain your plan for long. You lose interest because, gradually, you stop believing in them.

For example, I love cooking at home because I understand the ingredients and the cooking process. While I also enjoy dining out, I mainly appreciate it because someone else lays the table for me.

It’s time to dust away your old habits, check their validity and amend them if they have become non-functional. In other words, unlearn old habits and start learning what works today that stays within the boundary of your values and traditions.

- Cooking for myself and eating before others if I feel hungry.
- Making time for my passion. Learning it and going for it, pushing aside daily duties.
- Sneaking out some time to read a book before I sleep.
- Watching an age-old TV serial because I want to.
- Buying or not buying stuff because I feel it is or is not the right time.
Once you stop feeling guilty for yourself, your subconscious mind follows and helps you to be stronger. It is exactly like you manifest and after a time, you achieve it. The power lies in the strategy you follow to train your subconscious mind. After that, you need to practice it daily until it becomes a habit and habits do fulfil your dreams.
