The review of Deepa Gandhi’s Memoirs of my Travel
Travelling is the best stress buster. It rejuvenates your mind and soul that brings you back to life. Daily life is monotonous and a change of place brings life back to action. With Blogchatter Ebook Carnival, there are so many free ebooks to browse and download your favourite ebook. I have chosen to review Memoirs of my Travel by Deepa Gandhi which is a light travelogue that you will enjoy reading.
Author’s travel memoirs
Memoirs of my Travel consists of all the place the author had personally been to. It narrates stories from the places she had visited with her parents to the places she had taken her children to. Starting from Amritsar, the book takes to Haridwar, the favourite place of her father to Las Vegas with a 7-month-old kid. She has taken the habit of travelling from her father and continuing to date with her husband and two lovely daughters. Every chapter has a section called My Memories that connects the place with her fond memories from the past. Each place has highlights to cover in case you travel there.

My review
The cover of the ebook aptly describes the author’s personal memoirs. She has done full justice to the genre Travelogue through her ebook. As a travel enthusiast, she has included all the highlights of the places covered. The personal experience in every chapter connects well with you. Her writing style is simple and relatable. No where in the book you feel bored or halted. The author has promoted travelling with kids as small as 5 months old and that too confidently. I personally liked her description of Yercaud because I had also been here before marriage to meet my relatives in Salem. We spent a night in a cottage in Yercaud and enjoyed the little hill station.
I hope you enjoyed the review and I highly recommend you all to download this ebook and connect yourself with the author. You can download it here
