The kids may be of whatever age they feel a little uneasy when actually the exam time comes. Every parent has a different style to deal with exam stress. And still, **everyone is looking for more options to create a peaceful atmosphere during exams.** So what's my mantra this year to deal with [exam stress](https://thoughtsbygeethica.com/2017/03/qualified-moms/)?

## My experience so far

- **It is most important to understand your[ child's psychology.](https://thoughtsbygeethica.com/2017/04/w-willingness/) **The pattern of learning and how much time the child learns happily and when does she/he start feeling the pressure of the deadline.
- **Know your child's learning capacity**. Some may like to learn small portions at a time while others may sit at once and finish up the whole course.
- Some children like to write the facts and learn and **others like to record what they learn. This way they hear their own speech and feel confident about their little achievement.**
- Moms need to schedule accordingly. In order to avoid stress, schedule in advance the whole syllabus. **Divide chapters into days according to the datasheet.**
- Start from the subject that is scheduled to be the last. **This way you will come to the first exam just before it is about to happen.**
- **Never leave anything to be done freshly before the exam night.** It will only add to your stress.
- You should only revise **your already done notes** before the exam night.
- Some kids perform the same if they prepare for a month or a week. **So accept their ability and don't nag**. It will only stress them.
- **You need to be physically present with them all the time**. How may ever they be confident about their preparations? **It always supports them.**
- Always revise through the school copies while preparing. **Teachers always have something important to share while teaching and that comes in the final paper. **

The style of preparation always changes with time and child's age group. This is my experience at the moment. You may also share your feelings and add to the list.
