# Guide to outsmart #AtoZChallenge

Whenever a new year starts, the whole world talks about New Year's parties, but the blogging world talks solely about the **A to Z Challenge.** Every blogger has different reasons to take up this challenge. Some write to boost their blogging speed while others do it to improve their blog rank. **Here, I am providing you with the guide to outsmart #AtoZChallenge.**

## What is the #AtoZChallenge exactly?

This challenge starts from 1st April every year and ends on 30th April the same year. **You need to write every day except Sundays**. This comes to 26 posts a month. And the English alphabet is also 26. So you need to write the first post starting with the letter A. The second post with letter B on 2nd April. If you write the fifth post with letter E on 5th April, then you will write the sixth post with letter F on 7th April. This way, you will finish the last post with letter Z on 30th April.

## Is there a theme to follow?

**Not exactly.** It is totally your call. You can pick a theme and write all your posts on it. Else, you can write random posts also. **But they should follow the alphabetical order in any form.**

## What happens once the #AtoZChallenge starts?

You need to write every day except Sundays. Then you have to read other bloggers' posts. The more you read better it is** for your blog.**

## Why read others' posts?

There are numerous reasons to read as many posts as possible.

- To make new friends in the blogging world. **You will discover many like-minded people around.**

- To learn new and **different styles of writing**

- You explore many** new topics to read.**

- The most important reason is that when you visit other bloggers, **they will also return the favour. Otherwise why should anybody visit your blog?** You are yet to be that famous!

## Is this challenge doable?

**This challenge is 100% doable.** Many complete it successfully, while some leave it in between due to their own reasons.

## How to finish the challenge successfully?

**You need to prepare in advance.** Think of a theme or decide on **random posts. Start thinking about the letters. Draft your points either in a diary or on a laptop**. Once the idea is ready, **start drafting it in the final way you want your post to be published, with all the images and links. This can be done either on Blogger or WordPress. The scheduling is the best option. This way, you get more time to read other blogs. **

Yes, your post will be posted on the scheduled date. But you need to check because a machine is, anyway, a machine only and not a **human.**

## Where to link my post so that others can read?

Every day during the challenge, you need to open www.atozchallenge.com and open the latest post. You have to add your link in the comments section. Every year, they release a code and you have to put your blog link in that pattern.

Alternatively, [Blogchatter ](http://www.theblogchatter.com)also conducts the challenge. You have to link up to their daily posts, also if you have registered with them.
