# How to be thankful to your friends?

Many times, you feel dejected by your family. There is a temporary generation gap between family members. This is the time when friends show up as saviours. They are our lifelines. You don't need to explain or express your feelings to them. They read your mind and look into your eyes. In every awkward situation, your friends come to your rescue. Have you ever thought to be thankful to your friends?

# Make them feel special

- Differentiate between true friends and the ones who are selfish and betray people in the name of friendship. The company of your friends define your character in public.

- Don't judge them because they may get hurt. They may not favour you at times. Respect their judgment because they are unbiased.

- Be with them even when they don't need your help. Because belongingness is felt and not asked for.

- Always be honest. Behave the way you want them to behave. When you say the truth, you remember it always as it is the same. But a lie is said differently to different people.

- Never wait for your friend to break the ice during hard times. Let that ego go down and feel free to mend the gap. Trust me, you will feel better and thankful that you saved a great relationship.

Many sweet and simple things make this friendship special and memorable. A good friend is like an antique piece. They are mysterious; in every look, they have a new angle. With every passing year, you feel proud of them.
