What happened in that year that makes me laugh hard even now?

College is all about friends, food, shopping and boys. Sailing in the memory ship, today I am visiting the days when roaming in groups and betting on boys was the best time pass. It was a treat to see which one turns on you and who were you expecting? Something funny happened in that year that makes me laugh hard even now.

I am having fun in my second year of college. I know all the hangouts by now and my daily schedule is pretty much the same. Either we go to Priya or Saket, Satya Niketan or INA market. The choice is easy that depends on the vehicle or bus we want to travel in. Vidya is very good with routes whereas Reena would suddenly wake up from dreams and ask in the middle of a gossip, “Where are we heading to?” Well, that’s our cutie Reena, you just can’t beat her.

So we are pretty bored of our course boys so we see new boys from Stats (H) course. The course seems to be something different from the regular courses and of course the boys too. So you get a hint that a group of boys are looking on to you all as they pass by. And here, we choose one for each one of us. Well, I am not so picky type. I wait for the boy to look at me first. So I got one who is cute and well dressed.

Did I say laugh hard?

It is so obvious when one of them come and join you all to be friends then slowly everyone enters your group. So this boy as a cliche starts by talking all things around. I like the excitement in the air. Of course, we are friends now. Every morning we smile at each other and exchange greetings.

The next morning, they are in the car, four of them and asking we three girls to join them for a ride to the market. We can’t stop laughing that how would they adjust 7 adults in a Santro, a 5 seater car? Obviously, we denied and continue walking. Oh my God, our stomachs are hurting while we are laughing so hard.

By the end of the second day, everyone talks about we two going around. I am like, really? Chalo, let’s enjoy this news for some time. And to my surprise, that boy is gone! Where’s he? Did the air sweep him or did the earth swallowed him? Well, that was the end of something that never started.

Funny people, I would say. Saara mood kharab kar diya.
