What happened at college when a new boy wanted to celebrate his birthday with us?
It’s like the memories are never going to fade as long as we are alive. Good times come and go but memories will always stay with us. These memories only make us strong in times of trial. When nothing is as per your choice and you feel stuck in the present, old times make you smile. For some time only, you imagine yourself in that time zone and laugh at things that mattered to you the most. Well, what happened one day at college when a new boy wanted to celebrate his birthday with us?
Celeberating a birthday is alway fun
Today, we have more free classes and are planning to hang out at Saket PVR. But I don’t understand what’s taking Vidya so long? I am sitting on the pavement outside college and she’s nowhere. Reena is also absent today. Obviously, I don’t like to gel up with new people every new day. Let’s call Vidya first.
“Hey Vidya, where are you?”
“My car has broken down so I am thinking to skip college today.”
“Nooooo”
“I have come so far just for one class? Please come.”
“Oh ho, I have to go salon also. I have a hell lot of things to be done there.”
“No no, you have to come. I am waiting. We are planning to go to Saket to celebrate that new boy’s birthday and I want you to be with me. How else are we going to make stories of this day together? I am waiting. Please come.”
“Ok, ok coming. At least let me shape my eyebrows so that I look presentable. But why is he inviting us?”
“Because he’s obliged to have 2 popular girls in his birthday treat! Now I am waiting outside the college. Please hurry up”
At last, I can see Vidya coming. Chalo, let’s drive in to the market, we need to buy a gift for him. We can’t have his treat for free! Vidya looks frustated to dress up for him and I can’t stop laughing and teasing her. He might be thinking that Vidya has specially come for his birthday and that too direct from salon. Wow, what a great birthday.
To top it all, while coming back, he is playing the cassette we gifted him and to our surprise it doesn’t play peoperly. Oh my God, what a shame. We can’t hide our faces as we are laughing like mad people. Another friend taunts us saying kam se kam gift to teekh se le lete. But how do we know? It was a sealed cassette. His car music player must be defective.
Thus we created another laughing incident that makes me 18 years younger today. What were you doing at this time in your life?
