If I were the protagonist of a suspense novel, I would be Bella Swan
I have talked about my love for the Twilight movie series a lot on my blog. The time pauses when I think or talk about it. I enjoyed watching and reading them all so much. They are truly mesmerizing to me even today. The fictional plot of a human loving a vampire and thereafter becoming one is so cool. If I were the protagonist of a suspense novel, I would be Bella Swan.
I would love to change into a vampire
In the movie, Edward, the hero flies high in speed taking Bella on his back. Once watching on TV together with my husband, I was praising Edward and said ‘wow Bella must be enjoying so much.’ He replied, ‘What do you expect? I also take you on my back from one tree to another?’
Now how can I explain my excitement to him? It is just a waste of time instead I would enjoy imagining myself as Bella. The storyline and emotions are very much like Indians. Maybe that’s why it connected so well with me. Their love story also moves deeper gradually while I sense each of their situations.
Edward looks so smart
Edward was made so smart in all of the series. He was a typical prince charming with vampire effects. The best part of a vampire is that their age stops at the time they change into a vampire. Isn’t this what we all want as humans too? Stop at an age we love to be in?
Once Bella changed into a vampire, they both seemed to be perfect as ever. I loved Bella’s role and her intense love for Edward. She loves him irrespective of the fact that he’s not a human. She bravely loves him till the end.
At the time of their wedding, she was overwhelmed with the feeling of getting married to a vampire. But as soon as she saw Edward, she was confident of her decision once again. Isn’t it the exact feeling we get once we see our spouse or loved one in a time of crisis? Their presence alone gives us the confidence to fight back the problem.
I would like to be the same for my husband today and always. I may not be able to understand or solve his problem but being together should keep him at peace.
Have you ever thought of any protagonist you want to be?
