How do you understand the importance of Thou shalt build thy community?
I can vouch for the commandment Thou shalt build thy community from the day I have started blogging professionally. There’s no denying that community plays the most important role in making you a blogger. You may have the talent and resources to blog efficiently but not the audience when you start. That’s when you realize the importance of Thou shalt builds thy community.
Thou shalt build thy community
I guess it was in 2014 when I started writing on a blog. I wrote, I published wondering how will it reach people? I wasn’t aware of the term audience at that time. It was true serendipity when I came across a tweet asking to join a blogging activity. By then it was 2016. Here, I found Blogchatter and myself as a blogger. I learnt blogging and made so many friends.
I learnt the meaning of community, peers and fun blogging with all. Suddenly, the writing world looked so colourful and creativity got a new window altogether.
Community helps you grow as a blogger
- The community is always welcoming. You can experiment with any sort of activity, they will analyse you and come up with feedback.
- You don’t have to worry about the audience. If you are consistent with your work then readers also look forward to reading you.
- You learn so much by watching others and following them. Creativity in every form is entertaining when you watch it with a community.
- It’s fun to be with like-minded people around. You feel in a family that’s cool and funky.
Now I can go on talking about how much I love my community and this blog will change into an ebook! So it will be more interesting to know your thoughts.
