# Would you love to grow a balcony garden in a limited space?

I think my love for the green colour has also transferred to me from my father. While growing up, he maintained so many plants on our balcony. It was a small house with a terrace and **there were more plants than white spaces.** I remember him watering and taking care of them himself. In the morning, he would enjoy his tea while reading the paper. **Balcony garden, as it was mesmerisingly called out**. Little did I know at that time that I would take the legacy forward.

## Balcony garden in a limited space is possible

Today, I have a little garden outside my room taking care of which brings a smile to my face. Then there's a balcony garden in the front which my father in law fondly looks after. Once he shared with me a period when these plants helped him tackle any kind of depression. He used to wake up early in the morning and sit with them. Reaping new seeds and cleaning old plants have actually de-stressed him in a great way and he would **feel positive. **

Such is the** magic of the balcony garden**. Though gardener visits our home weekly, **we take the pledge to love our plants ourselves first. **

## Some greenery for yourself

You should definitely try to create one balcony garden for yourself irrespective of the space available. There are many [ideas available on the internet ](https://homebnc.com/best-balcony-garden-ideas/)today and so many options in the market. In fact, **I am always observant of what container gets empty and I plant a seed in it**.

My room balcony is old fashioned with broken walls and less space but still, **I love to decorate it with creative hangings and pots.** You can start with hanging baskets or half stick them to walls.

**Watering** the plants is the most important aspect. Initially, when I was not too keen on growing a garden of my own, I was silly to think that plants will survive even if I don't water them regularly. Anything will grow only if you love it wholeheartedly and be selfless for it.

Do you also love growing a garden of your own?
