How to take care of yourself as a mother in depression?

I am an observant writer and motivational blogger. My blog is the true reflection of my soul. It spreads happiness and shows ways to smile even when time tests you. Organising effectively and managing time makes me productive. Over the years, I have become calm. I am clear of my goal and this makes my journey smooth. Currently, the focus is to win anger and use the power of the subconscious mind to control my brain.

  1. Self care is very important. More so in moms who put their children’s happiness and comfort first.

  2. You have written about a sensitive topic. I appreciate it. Not many accept the fact about mental health. It is the most neglected and wrapped up due to societal pressure. I’ve personally been there, we all go through this at some time or the other. Handling a teenager is a difficult phase, a depressed teen is a roller coaster ride. So the mother needs to take a lot of care. It is true.

You said it Geets! Happy, Healthy Mom= Happy, Healthy Baby! Post partum depression is something which is rarely addressed in our country despite being a very real and terrible condition for a new mom to be in. Investing in self-care and sharing feelings and worries with loved ones really makes a lot of difference.
