Why is it Hard to Let Go?
There is always a generation gap in the thinking of young people and their elders. We, the people of today, want change in almost everything. We believe in bringing new things and get rid of old things before they turn out ugly. But there is always a conflict at the issue. The elders at home feel that we waste money in buying new things and don’t have that emotional value with the things around. And my home is no different.
Let it go
My husband and I have just shifted to Delhi. Both are kids are school going. Settling the home with kid’s new school and husband’s office is a big task. And I am also working from home. I am always good at organising task but this time it is difficult. Arranging for domestic help is also a priority. When you live in joint setup, your habits are spoiled to a large extent. But now, I am alone to finish all the chores myself.
Damage while shifting
We were living in Pune before. When we got this opportunity to shift Delhi and we were happy with the change. We had contacted the packaging companies to transfer our furniture and many other useful appliances. They assured all the safety and no damage due to breakage or theft. But somewhere in my heart, there was a little doubt.
I was sad to depart from my friends from the neighbourhood. I have been friends with them for 15 years. It is a long time to spend together. One of them was really close to me. I discussed with her how to transfer all the big and small things to a new place. Many of things at home were in such bad condition. But they were at my home only because our parents had bought them. Or some were gifted by close relatives. And the sentimental list goes on forever. My friend also suggested leaving the extremely old things behind. And we never know how much things can we actually adjust in our new home?

Difference of opinion
When I discussed the same issue with our parents, as usual, we had a long conversation and I lost the argument. They were sceptical about our buying new furniture and appliances for our new home. Somewhere in our minds, I and my husband also had doubts about buying so many new things at once. And the new schools for both the kids were also expanding our budget.
The air was a little tense. That day, we both were quiet. We needed a solution. And everything comes at its pace. While browsing the internet, I found about Rentomojo. On researching more I found that Rentomojo allows you buy quality furniture, appliances, and even vehicles at affordable prices. This was something new and totally comfortable. We immediately searched more about the facility and we were fully convinced. The furniture seemed of great quality and had great reviews as well. I got so excited to read about so many of their happy customers that I wanted to refurbish my whole kitchen.

The best part was to rent a bike. This made our lives much easier. As Delhi is badly known for its traffic, Rentomojo came as a perfect solution to us. Now our home looks perfect with Rentomojo. When you feel bored you can always change and choose a new one.
an interesting concept. Never knew such an option existed. One could play around with the furniture and experiment with looks in the home front.
