Mental and Physical Wellness
We all are hardworking and energetic. The enthusiasm of earning and becoming financially independent gives us more energy. Many times we wake up in the middle of the night and jot down some important points. Before they vanish from mind we want to store them as notes. But have you ever wondered how are we able to do all this? Creativity is one aspect. No doubt that when creativity is burning inside, we tend to produce masterpieces. But what we don’t realise is that we are able to perform at our level best only when are mentally and physically fit and strong.
There are times when I am not able to write
Simply because:
- Even a headache prevents me from reading a group chat; forget about writing a post. It feels like loads of bricks are being hit on my head from all sides. My whole day is wasted and I am not able to work until I feel better; whether household work or profession.
- Even a nose block breaks me from inside. I want to do millions of work but not able to because of lack of sleep.
- A fever makes me like a potato lying on the bed. When I can’t drag myself to the washroom then how can I expect to get up and scroll my laptop screen?
I count the times I am not well and how the whole house comes to a stop when I am not on my feet. There is the loss of enjoyment and family time. The whole working style suffers and my kids look up at me innocently. We enjoy life and work only when we are physically fit.
Similarly, mental peace is equally important
Now a physically strong person can perform really well. But if the person is mentally ill or rather disturbed due to some reasons then his performance is surely going to effect. Our body and soul work together. We need to be at peace in order to grasp effectively. Else we will not enjoy what we are doing. Many times we are physically doing something but not mentally interested. For some time, we may drag ourselves but after a certain point, we collapse; we are depressed.
Family conflicts also disturb our mind. We may have time but we don’t want to do a particular work. Simply because we don’t enjoy it. The same goes for office politics.
This concludes that we need to be mentally and physically well to produce creativity at different stages of life; be it work or family.
Indeed mental well being is very important as so much pressure is not easy to handle

Very very true. So many talk of how we have much free time and still aren’t writing… But you need to obtein that mental frame of mind to do so
I know. Many times we see this precious time flipping off our hands but we are helpless.
I can so so agree with you, i have been there and due to this i left my office also sometimes all this gets too overwhelming and you just cannot concentrate on any particular thing!!!
Seriously. We take too much stress on ourselves and think we can finish all. But this shows on our health. Thank you dear

Yes, mental and physical fitness is important to enjoy life and work. I totally agree with you that when you are ill you don’t feel like writing. It irritates but it is important to get it cured first rather than pushing yourself. Great post.
