My cup of coffee with a twist
Coffee is one of the drink that makes me happy. I have been having small sips of coffee since I was a child. I know that’s bad but it was always made with my maternal grandma’s love so the harm was less in comparison to affection diluted. The taste of that coffee has so many memories weaved along and it keeps getting refreshed when I sip my coffee today. Taking the legacy forward, my mother makes awesome coffee. I can smell the aroma of her coffee crossing over the cities. Whenever I visit her, the coffee is the first thing I want to have; even in scorching heat. That’s addiction? No, it is occasional.
Coffee with a twist
Taking the legacy forward, I have also learnt to make good coffee. And yes, it tastes fantastic as quoted by many and recently by my friend Zainab. In fact, the idea of writing this blog is also given by her only. Today, I will tell you what little changes I made to my cup of coffee to make it more delicious.
Ingredients:
1 cup milk
Sugar as per taste ( I prefer equal to coffee)
Nescafe Classic 1/2 teaspoon
Nescafe Gold 1/2 teaspoon
Little water to make the coffee-sugar mixture
P.S.- Alternatively, you can use Decaffeinated Coffee also in place of regular coffee. In case someone wants to avoid caffeine but want to taste the same.
Recipe:
In a bowl, take both the coffees and sugar (as per your taste).
Now add some drops of warm water to it. While adding water, keep mixing the ingredients with a spoon.
Keep mixing it till all the sugar granules get absorbed by the coffee.
Some minutes later, the mixture will become light in density and in colour too. It will become fluffy like the cake mixture when we beat it. Now your coffee is almost ready.
Pour this coffee mixture into an empty cup.
Boil the milk in a pan.
Now pour this milk into the cup and stir it well with a spoon. Your coffee is ready with huge froth and warm taste.
Why I used two different kinds of coffee
Nescafe Classic is the usual taste that we all have been drinking since ages. No doubt it tastes yummy but a twist always adds to the excitement. So first I made a coffee with Nescafe Gold alone. I didn’t like the taste that much. And that’s when I thought to mix both the coffees. I served them to some of my guests and the reaction was overwhelming. This is how I got confidence.

It is everyone ‘s personal choice to switch between the two coffees. It depends on individual’s resisting capacity also. But what I have experienced is that the taste according to my recipe remains almost the same.
You can try any of the combinations and let me know how it tasted? Don’t forget to add the magic of your love into every cup of coffee you make.
