Missing from my life
Something or the other is always missing from our lives. At every stage of life, we achieve one new thing and leave behind an old thing. And this way, we start missing all those things. This list keeps on piling. After marriage, we miss a greater part of our old lives. When our family grow, we miss our ‘me’ time. Career makes us busy and away from our family and friends. But what is that one thing that is missing from our lives for so long?
What’s missing from my life
I miss being a daughter.
I am connected to her over the internet but I miss her physical presence.
I miss being a carefree soul;
a soul free of duties and responsibilities
not burdened with household chores
not concerned about the food menu but only eating delicious food
eating almost every dish without counting the calories in it.
I miss being a soul that slept at any time and woke up at another time
When I thought for only me and not for all.
When mistakes were ignored as silly behaviours and not considered as a crime.
How can you stop missing your old habits?
When you start loving your new life with new habits. When you count your present achievements you will certainly stop missing the old times.
