Totally agree! I tell my mom, that I started respecting her more, only after I became a mother.

  3. The bond shared with mother is most special one. I remember my mother used to tell “jab khud maa banegi tab pata chalega” , haha, maybe I was her talkative child and even she looked for mondays 🙂

  6. Another beautiful memory Geethica, I was more attached to Mom. My aunts and cousins used to tease me as maa ki poonch, and I used to get really angry on them then. But today when I see my lo doing the same my heart swells with the happiness & content. mom-child relationship – well can’t be described in words.

  7. While I don’t have kids of my own, I know what you mean about the old school days and how we learn to appreciate the sacrifices made by our parents back then.

The bond that you share with your mom shines through your words, Geethica. I am still smiling at ‘Mummy karayegi’. I used to say that a lot too. And home is so peaceful when kids are at school. So much can be accomplished, isnt it!!

  9. Geethica, this would be the best trophy your mother has ever cherished! I am sure, after reading this post, she will beam with pride and will have another reason to shower blessing on you!

Memories are a mixture of good things you always want to take forward and some things about which you don’t have a reason. But you are a part of them. Thanks Unishta
