Monsoons at Chaayos!!
At last Monsoons have arrived in Delhi. I simply love the smell of fresh air and clean plants; wet mud and wet cemented walls. AHH!! It’s just irresistible. But does everything look fine with an empty stomach? No, at least not for me.
I am a true foodie in every sense. Good food makes me smile and I am happy. But tasteless food is just not acceptable.
Coming back to the season, don’t you love to go highways to have that Garam chai in Kullad and Spicy Pakoras? But in today’s busy lifestyle and not mention the traffic, we have to forgo this delight.
But not anymore. Because CHAAYOS has introduced its tempting new monsoon menu that gives you the feeling of true dhaba but in AC.
New Monsoon Menu Additions
Kullad Chai
This is KULLAD WALI CHAI that gives you the exact taste and the smell of that mitti wala kullad. The tea is a perfect blend of milk, tea leaves, sugar and a pinch of Kesar masala.
They also have another tea as SHAHI CHAI. This is a creamy and thick tea laden with dry fruits, elaichi and Kesar. For a tea lover like me, this is the perfect choice to start.
Bun Samosa
This is a very innovative way of serving samosas. They have put samosa within buttered bun. It is topped with imli chutney, dhania pudhina chutney and a crunch of peanuts. This is a perfect option for desi people and western people both.
Baarish Wale Pakore
They are serving 8 onion bhajjias, 2 paneer pakoras and 1 stuffed Mirchi Pakora. It instantly became my favourite when sprinkled with red chilli powder and served hot.
Loaded Open Parantha
If you are a hardcore vegetarian then you just can’t miss this one. No this not a pizza but paneer makhani gravy mixed with cheese and layered on the top of layered Parantha. The gravy is so yummy and not dripping at all.
Kullad wali Jalebi
As a tradition, when all has been enjoyed, how can you forget sweet dish? So here, they present you extremely delicious Jalebis in kullad. And believe me, they are so crispy with the right amount of sweetness. I bet you just can’t have one!
Don’t get lost. You are still in a cafeteria and not in a restaurant. With an exciting menu to offer, they have really worked hard on their interiors too. The first impression for me lies in the ambience only. When this is good you are encouraged to sit and try their menu.
CHAAYOS have designed their cafe very creatively. It’s attractive yet subtle. It is lively and very welcoming and not to forget the warm and helpful staff at your service.
So wait no more. Before the season washes away, do visit CHAAYOS at your nearest locality. For any queries, feel free to contact them here
