A soul that I don’t own

I am thankful to GOD

for every single moment that 

I am given in my life

for all the little and big benefits that 

makes my life better than others

for the contentment, I get even out of 

the small things happening to me

for the warmth, I feel on my skin 

when standing under the sun.

I am thankful to GOD

for all the little things that I 

could do when I am not well

for all the wishes that don’t come true

because they were not good for me

for all the good things happening to me

that I have not aspired for.

I am thankful to GOD

for the love, I feel for Him

for the closeness, I feel for Him

for the reason that I don’t need to tell Him

what I need and when

I am thankful to GOD

for when nothing is happening well around me

I can turn towards my true blessings-my kids

for they are still untouched by the hardships of life.

I am thankful to GOD

for every breath that I take.
